African Americans: Going Extinct
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion.
On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.
It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 16 million abortions. "Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing 16 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America's Black community would now number 52 million persons. It would be 36 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member."
Gather the people...
Our people are going through a crisis. In times like these, we must come together as the body of Christ to cry out to God and pray against the attacks of the enemy on this generation. We must pray with the authority and power of the Holy Bible, the Word of God.
If my people who are called by My name...
When we pray the Word we pray the will of God; and if we ask any thing according to his will, "he heareth us: if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
The Move is ON
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...Hosea 4:6
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power....Eph. 6:10-18
If My people, who are called by My name, will Humble themselves and Pray....2 Chron. 7:14
- Realize our need,
- Learn the devastation of our need, and
- CRY out like the children of Israel while in bondage
to Pharaoh and the Egyptians!
The Move is on & It's Time for Change! It's Time for Action! It's Time for a Great Awakening in this generation that will finalize the FREEDOM CRY we've been fighting for through slavery. It's time for a FREEDOM CRY that realizes this battle will only be won through prayer!
FREEDOM'S CRY is a movement created to catapult African Americans on college campuses out of lifestyles of bondage, into spiritual freedom, and give them a resolve to save this entire generation.
